While working with a live client, Ella, creator of Nails by Ella, aimed to create a cohesive branding strategy that would use her core values to separate her from the rest of her competitors.
The main focus of the research portion of this project was to understand the client's heritage and background, as she was born in Grenada before moving to Canada. Another critical aspect was to understand her target audience and her competition.
Exploring different font weights and positions for the word mark, brainstorming an icon for a social media profile, and sketching some thumbnails for the possible motif.
